BIRTH DOULA CARE

As a birth doula, I support a couple through the birth process emotionally and physically, creating a warm, calm space to bring their baby into the world. I work both within the Baltimore Jewish community and throughout greater Baltimore.

  • Step 1 - Interview:
    Choosing the right doula for your birth is like making a match. Not every doula is right for every couple - it’s important to interview a few doulas to make sure its the right fit. Birth is a vulnerable time and the couple needs to feel very comfortable and safe with their doula.

    Step 2 - Birth Plan Meeting:
    Once hired, a digital intake form will be filled out to help prepare for our birth plan meeting in which we will discuss or create your birth plan. We will also work through any worries or fears you may have, so you can feel the most prepared.

  • Services Include:

    • Text and phone support through out pregnancy.

    • 24/7 on-call from 2 weeks before due date until birth.

    • Home support and/or hospital support which includes: comfort measures and emotional and information support.

    • Staying after birth to make sure you are settled and help with feeding and any questions you may have.

    • Postpartum visit to help process the birth and talk about any challenges regarding any postpartum issues.

    • A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at time of booking to confirm me as your doula.

    • 10% discount for repeat clients.
