My childbirth education classes — available throughout the greater Baltimore area — empower a couple to have the birth they desire and make informed decisions, while also preparing the couple for the possibility of different outcomes.

Comprehensive Class

  • Everything you need to know about birth, baby & breastfeeding.

    If you desire an unmedicated birth, are first-time parents, or are preparing for a VBAC, this class will prepare you on all levels – physically, mentally & emotionally.

  • Topics Include:
    > Nutrition & exercise
    > Building your birth team
    > Stages of labor
    > Relaxation & comfort measures
    > Preparing your partner
    > Birth plans
    > Newborn procedures
    > Parenting techniques & much more!

    • 10 Weeks

    • 2 Hours/Class

  • $499 + Beautiful, full color student workbook included

Home & Birth Center Class

  • Prepares couples for an out-of-hospital birth.

  • Topics Include:
    > Stages of labor
    > Relaxations, comfort measures, tips & tools for both partners (partners need tips, too!)
    > Information if a transfer becomes necessary
    > Building your birth team, and much more.

    • 6 Weeks

    • 2 Hours/Class

  • $499 + Beautiful, full color student workbook included

Basic Training Class

  • One day class, designed for the extra busy couple.

  • Topics Include:
    > Basic nutrition & exercise to stay healthy & low-risk
    > What to expect during labor, epidurals & cesarean section,
    > Coping techniques & comfort measures
    > Writing a birth plan

  • 7 Hours + 1 hour lunch break

  • $349 + Beautiful, full color student workbook included

Reboot Refresher Class

  • For couples who have taken a birth class with a previous pregnancy. This class is tailor made to cover the topics you feel you need to prepare for your upcoming birth.

  • Topics Typically Included:
    > Stages of labor
    > Relaxation & comfort measure techniques
    > Postpartum
    > Breastfeeding

    • This is a private class & scheduled on a "as needed" basis

    • Runs 4 hours.

  • $299 + Full color workbook included

Homecoming Class

  • This is your manual for early parenthood to help you & your partner get off to a great start with your new baby!

  • Topics Include:
    > Breastfeeding (one year access to our FREE video course included)
    > Newborn procedures
    > Baby wearing
    > Safe sleep

    > Baby comfort techniques

  • 4 Hours

Comfort Measures Class

  • Designed to help both partners build confidence for the big day.

    This class does not replace a childbirth education course.

  • Topics Include:
    > Relaxation & comfort measures
    > Massage
    > Imagery for labor
    > Communication skills for labor

  • 4 Hours
